The JX S9600 series is a chassis core switch designed by Beijing Jiaxin Technology Co., Ltd. for high-end campus networks. It supports both data center and campus features for cloud-network convergence and virtualized deployment. Available in 3-slot (S9603) and 8-slot (S9608) form factors with ultra-high-density GE/10GE/25GE/40GE/100GE Ethernet ports for data center, metro, campus, or converged deployments.
Network Virtualization Technology
Designed for highly reliable network evolution, the JX S9600 introduces Intelligent Virtualization Technology to virtualize multiple core switches into one logical device for unified operation and management, improving network reliability with millisecond-level link failover to keep critical services running.
The JX S9600 series supports cross-device link aggregation (M-LAG), enabling link aggregation across multiple devices to raise link reliability from board level to device level, deliver dual-active uplinks, and multiply effective network connection bandwidth. M-LAG member devices can be upgraded independently while other nodes continue forwarding traffic, achieving zero service interruption.

The JX S9600 supports hardware BFD for VRRP, OSPF, BGP4, IS-IS, IS-ISv6, static routes, and more, providing millisecond-level fast fault detection across protocols.
The JX S9600 supports dual primary/backup operating systems. In production networks, if the primary system fails, the device automatically switches to the backup system for improved stability and reliability.
Comprehensive security protection.
The JX S9600 supports full-port hardware MACsec encryption for hop-by-hop secure data transmission.
The JX S9600 supports Cloudsec encryption to secure VXLAN-based service traffic.
The JX S9600 supports 802.1X and AAA/RADIUS user authentication with hierarchical user permission management for secure device administration.
The JX S9600 supports hardware CPU protection queues for data/control plane separation to prevent DoS attacks, unauthorized access, and control plane overload.

The JX S9600 supports dual IPv4/IPv6 protocol stacks, IPv6 static routing, RIPng, OSPFv3, BGP+, and IS-ISv6, along with rich IPv4-to-IPv6 transition technologies for smooth migration from IPv4 to IPv6, meeting requirements for standalone IPv6 networks and IPv4/IPv6 hybrid networks.

The JX S9600 supports CLI, Web, Telnet, and other diverse management and maintenance methods.
